'CUSE ONCE AGAIN!

Dear all Ya'lls

So as you know, I am now officially back in Downtown Syracuse! It is very weird being back here. (1.) I am 2nd Transfer Training (2.) It is weird to think that exactly a year ago I was here but on the Southside (3.) We are teaching a ton of lessons! (like 10-20 a week!) (4.) I just feel OLD! 0.0 -.-

Its' ok though, I am over it! This past week has been a ride down memory lane! I am in a full walk area, so that means I get to ride on the Metro Bus' all the time. (it is weird not having a car sometimes..oh wells) I do have pictures for you all from when I left Owego and some from my first week on Northside, but we had to go to a different library than we usually go to because the Zone Leaders had to be somewhere they didn't tell us about till this morning (they are our ride for groceries and such on P-Day) So all our plans pretty much got a giant rock thrown through like a window. My point is, this computer won't let me access anything from my camera and or my flash drive so I will have to wait till next week when we can hopefully get to go with the Zone Leaders to the Library that will allow us to do all that fancy shtuff.

Taining isn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. I am still a little nervous in some cases but It helps that my companion (Step son) is pretty laid back, chill, and willing to receive more input from me. Which helps A TON! Other than that, we have been just work, work, working and teach, teach, teaching all day ere' day! It is awesome to have things to do through out the day! haha Hoep you all are doing well! If yous want to email me, just give my mom a holler and she will send ya the address!

Love Ya's!

Transfers!

Dear all Y'all,

Like I mentioned last week, we did get transfer calls, and I am leaving Owego and am going to Downtown Syracuse to be on the Northside! I cannot believe I am going back to syracuse! It is so weird that this is happening. Exactly a year ago I was being trained and opened up the southside area. I am as close to my first area as I can get with out actually being there! I will also be 2nd Transfer training an Elder, Elder Jackson. When a missionary gets trained, they are trained for 12 weeks. His trainer trained him his first 6 weeks, and now I get to go in and finish training him for the next 6 weeks! I am nervous, but excited at the same time.

Other than that, I have been doing a lot of packing, and sorting. I do have a bunch of junk that I have realized I truly don't need and have been able to let it go and either through it away or leave it for future missionaries to use or give away. I still have a bunch of junk, it's just now a much smaller pile of junk ^.^

We did a lot of shoveling this week, I broke 2 snow shovels within at least an hour and a half. Neither of them were ours.....The shovels were just not made for real men to use! xD I was blessed with the fact that I did not need to replace any of them because the first one I broke was brother Cox's new shovel that he had for only 2 days....my bad... But Sears had a warrenty on it and he took it in and got a new one. :D The second one I broke was some ladies that we were helping, and in my defense, it already had a crack in it.....so I just finished it! haha But they were going to through that one away anyways so I feel better about it haha

Nothing else exciting this week....If you are reading this and you write me letters...I cannot respond to any of them till next week on monday. They hold all the stinken mail the week before transfers so I will be picking up the letters when I am in Utica on Wednesday. So, don't worry! I will respond I promise! haha

Hope you all are doing great!

Snow Sickness

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been a great and interesting week. We have been blessed with lessons to teach this week and we were blessed with a Zone Training Meeting as well this week! I absolutly love when we have zone meetings and we go and can see other in our zone (stake) that we don't get to see ere'day like we do the sisters and the people in our district.

In the process of this week, we were so excited for all the snow to finally melt away and be gone! We were terribly wrong. This last Wednesday, we went from 1inch to a foot and a half of snow over night and on and off snowing all weekend and through out this week as well. Go up state New York! haha No seriously is pretty cool up here. We also caught something this week! Yup my companion and I got sick again this last week due to ere'one we saw being sick in some sort of way. Luckily all we caught was a common cold. I am feeling tons better than I did over the weekend, but my companion is at the peek of his cold right now and so we can't go anywhere till he is better or he will spread it to others. We don't want to do that haha

Other than that this week has been a good week and this week should be good as well! This week is yet again that time of the transfer where this coming saturday is transfer calls! My companion and I think that we will be staying together atleast one more transfer. We don't know for sure but we will see this saturday!

Hope you all are doing amazing! If not, It is my prayer that the Lord will bless you as well as others with an uplifting week!

A Little Boring

Dear momma, famerie, and all you peoples that rock my socks!

This has been a boring, normal, week for the work of the Lord on our side, but on all other aspects of life, some pretty cool and interesting things have happened.

For the Work, it has been super slow, and no one could meet with us this week and we had ere'single appointment cancel this week on us and no one literally wanted to talk to us. That is a normal thing for missionaries up here in upstate new york if you are not serving in a city area. Which I am ok with because the city is to crowded and I like driving...haha you don't drive to much or even have a car if you serve in a city area here. For things outside of the work, the entertainment part of week started off on wednesday this week as we were trying a former investigator.

We parked at his home and knocked on the door; no one answered, we knocked again; no one answered. We got back into the car to head to the local food pantry to do our service with them. I aksed my companion, Elder Prestwich, if he thought I could make it if I just did a U Turn with out hitting the snow. He told me, " Yeah I think you make it." .....We didn't make it, we got the car stuck in the snow for like 45 min. We, even used a shovel that was sitting outside the formers home to try and dig out the car a little bit. After we tried and tried just ourselves, I sat in the car super upset and said a prayer. After my prayer, walking a up the street was a man, he aksed us if we need him to pull us out with his truck. We told him no, but if he could help push the car out we could get out. He helped us out and we got unstuck and found out it was the former we were trying to contact. He wasn't to interested any more but was greatful he was able to help.

Other than that, we had a ward activity this last friday about sugar.....It was a whole couple hours of someone pretty much telling us how much sugar is really in things and telling us we were fat....and addicted to sugar...haha We found out how to turn grams of sugar into tablespoons of sugar.
#of Grams Divided by 4 = # of Table Spoons of Sugar
If you want to do Fat, You do the same math but you divide by 5 instead of 4. I will only suggest you do that math if you want to change you eating habbits....other wise...don't do it! haha It might just scare you!

I hope all of you are having a great week and that those in Greenwich are doing well! If not, let me know, I might be able to pull some strings ;) haha Don't Tell Elder Cosman that haha

Love you all!

Carless

Dear mom, Friends, and all y'alls who readeth this on the interweb!

This past week has been a freakin weird week! WE had 3 appointments set up last week on Monday, 1 with a less active, 1 with a potential, and 1 with out investigators. The appointment with the less active fell through due to the flu, but our other 2 appointments went through! We picked up a new investigator and are going to teach her again next week! It is awesome to see that if you work hard and are faithful, that the lord will bless you in due time.

We also haven't been able to use are our car this week due to our lack of miles we has left for the rest of the month. Before my last companion left, we literally used about 200 of the 900 miles we have for the month in less than a week...Which is now biting us in the bum. That is what happens when you don't care about things when you are getting transferred. Because of that we have been stuck in Newark Valley for the bast 4-5 days. It is a little town, not the smallest town we have, but it is still pretty small. It is super hard to spend that many days in one part of your area when you literally have talked to ere'one just a couple days ago. We went tracking the other day on 2 different streets. Ere'single door opened! But they were all not interested, which was a bummer because it was freakin cold outside and the wind was blowing constantly which didn't help either. Yesterday I got up and felt a little sick to my stomach. I thought, well it is because I had a super small breakfast before we left to our meeting this morning. When we got home I ate lunch and it got worse. I went and took a small nap before we went to a less actives house to watch the movie, praise to the man with them. During the movie, I had the feeling of throwing up on and off, I figures it would just be like that until we were able to go home. I was completely wrong. Half way through the movie, I asked to use their bathroom and I puked violently, Talk about freakin embarrassing! I did however feel a little better and I came out and we finished the movie and went home. It was such a blessing that no on knew I went and puked in there. When I got home, I started having super bad chills, aches in all my joints, and I started getting a fever on top of my stomach hurting. I did end up puking again later that night, but boy was it a rough night! Not to much sleep and I messed up my back a little bit. Being sick sucks! Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug. This morning, I woke up (dehydrated) feeling so much better! Especially after I showered.

Other than that nothing much has happened this week that is out of the ordinary! Hope you all are healthy and doing well!

Love,
Elder Zenger

IT'S COLD AGAIN

Dear Mom, (and many many others across ere'where!)

I would like you to as well send me some of those lactose pill things....I would like to try them to see if they will help even just a little bit. It would be nice to have happiness again when I eat things haha I actually saw a part the trailer for the new Lego Movie. It does look freakin sweet! I remember when they first announced they were going to be making that movie and now it is out and I can't see it yet! haha oh well! Those slippers she made me where her and bro.cox's christmas present to me this year! They are freakin awesome!

So, this past week has been just like last week, we only taught 1 lesson again this last week and it was to a less active couple. Which is funny, because the sisters we share the ward with, taught 10 lessons and got 1 new investigator this past week...which makes us look pretty bad when we report to the ward mission leader, the ward council, and the Assistants to president. We did indeed track and walked who knows how many miles this last week all week with no success what so ever. It has been a trial to try and keep your spirits up when no one wants to talk to you let alone open their freakin door in this cold weather! haha Its all good though, we are hopefull and are hoping that this week is better! Our bodies are super soar and exsausted, but at this point we don't even care anymore because we know that we have to keep going and keep the faith! It has made us feel better when we listen to the Les Miserable sound track and other cds we have that uplift us and help us keep going haha Music is the best thing ever besides movies! haha SO! Funny Story, This last week we had a dinner appointment with a member who has been coming to church again. She made us a wonderful dinner and was aware that I couldn't have dairy because she herself cannot have it either. When we got there for dinner she gave both my companion and I a very big glass of milk each. Since I didn't want to rude and say, " Hey I cannot have this" (especially since she already poured the huge glass and gave it to me) I turned to my companion and jokingly told him to chug my glass of milk when she wasn't looking. When she got up to go do something, that is exactly what my companion did. He chugged both tall huge glasses of milk in literally 10 seconds before she turned back around. Luckily he didn't get sick, but it was pretty gross and impressive at the same time. I do have pictures for you all this week! There is alot so I hope you all will take the time (if you want) to look at them cause there is god number of them. :)

I love yas and hope and pray that you all are safe and in the Lords hands each and ere'day!

PEACE, LOVE, AND HAPPINESS TO YOUR LIVES!

Love,
Elder Zenger

An Interesting Week

Dear mom and the world,

I do not have pictures this week because i am on a members ipad for email today. So i found something out this week that is kinda important. So i literally cannot have dairy in any shape way or form now. I found out the hard way haha so you know how it used to make me hyper and then sick if I had to much? Well.....now this is what happens when I have it; i get a bad stomach ache, I cough super hard (to the point of gagging or puking) and it feels like my throat swells up a little bit....fun huh? Yeah so, sis. Cox just said that I need to stay away from it and do whatever when I get home cause its not to hard to stay away from dairy, it just sucks really bad! Haha so yeah no more happiness! Haha jk it is a little depressing though. Other than that we now have no investigators, and no one will talk to us or keep appointments. So life is dandy right now! Ahaha no really though I am, just saddened a bit. Im not depressed or anything. Don't worry. And I will stay away from dairy so that I don't die haha i love yas and will continue to pray for all of you and I hope that all of you who are reading this are doing well and dandy!

Love yas!
