'CUSE ONCE AGAIN!

Dear all Ya'lls

So as you know, I am now officially back in Downtown Syracuse! It is very weird being back here. (1.) I am 2nd Transfer Training (2.) It is weird to think that exactly a year ago I was here but on the Southside (3.) We are teaching a ton of lessons! (like 10-20 a week!) (4.) I just feel OLD! 0.0 -.-

Its' ok though, I am over it! This past week has been a ride down memory lane! I am in a full walk area, so that means I get to ride on the Metro Bus' all the time. (it is weird not having a car sometimes..oh wells) I do have pictures for you all from when I left Owego and some from my first week on Northside, but we had to go to a different library than we usually go to because the Zone Leaders had to be somewhere they didn't tell us about till this morning (they are our ride for groceries and such on P-Day) So all our plans pretty much got a giant rock thrown through like a window. My point is, this computer won't let me access anything from my camera and or my flash drive so I will have to wait till next week when we can hopefully get to go with the Zone Leaders to the Library that will allow us to do all that fancy shtuff.

Taining isn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. I am still a little nervous in some cases but It helps that my companion (Step son) is pretty laid back, chill, and willing to receive more input from me. Which helps A TON! Other than that, we have been just work, work, working and teach, teach, teaching all day ere' day! It is awesome to have things to do through out the day! haha Hoep you all are doing well! If yous want to email me, just give my mom a holler and she will send ya the address!

Love Ya's!

Transfers!

Dear all Y'all,

Like I mentioned last week, we did get transfer calls, and I am leaving Owego and am going to Downtown Syracuse to be on the Northside! I cannot believe I am going back to syracuse! It is so weird that this is happening. Exactly a year ago I was being trained and opened up the southside area. I am as close to my first area as I can get with out actually being there! I will also be 2nd Transfer training an Elder, Elder Jackson. When a missionary gets trained, they are trained for 12 weeks. His trainer trained him his first 6 weeks, and now I get to go in and finish training him for the next 6 weeks! I am nervous, but excited at the same time.

Other than that, I have been doing a lot of packing, and sorting. I do have a bunch of junk that I have realized I truly don't need and have been able to let it go and either through it away or leave it for future missionaries to use or give away. I still have a bunch of junk, it's just now a much smaller pile of junk ^.^

We did a lot of shoveling this week, I broke 2 snow shovels within at least an hour and a half. Neither of them were ours.....The shovels were just not made for real men to use! xD I was blessed with the fact that I did not need to replace any of them because the first one I broke was brother Cox's new shovel that he had for only 2 days....my bad... But Sears had a warrenty on it and he took it in and got a new one. :D The second one I broke was some ladies that we were helping, and in my defense, it already had a crack in it.....so I just finished it! haha But they were going to through that one away anyways so I feel better about it haha

Nothing else exciting this week....If you are reading this and you write me letters...I cannot respond to any of them till next week on monday. They hold all the stinken mail the week before transfers so I will be picking up the letters when I am in Utica on Wednesday. So, don't worry! I will respond I promise! haha

Hope you all are doing great!

Snow Sickness

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been a great and interesting week. We have been blessed with lessons to teach this week and we were blessed with a Zone Training Meeting as well this week! I absolutly love when we have zone meetings and we go and can see other in our zone (stake) that we don't get to see ere'day like we do the sisters and the people in our district.

In the process of this week, we were so excited for all the snow to finally melt away and be gone! We were terribly wrong. This last Wednesday, we went from 1inch to a foot and a half of snow over night and on and off snowing all weekend and through out this week as well. Go up state New York! haha No seriously is pretty cool up here. We also caught something this week! Yup my companion and I got sick again this last week due to ere'one we saw being sick in some sort of way. Luckily all we caught was a common cold. I am feeling tons better than I did over the weekend, but my companion is at the peek of his cold right now and so we can't go anywhere till he is better or he will spread it to others. We don't want to do that haha

Other than that this week has been a good week and this week should be good as well! This week is yet again that time of the transfer where this coming saturday is transfer calls! My companion and I think that we will be staying together atleast one more transfer. We don't know for sure but we will see this saturday!

Hope you all are doing amazing! If not, It is my prayer that the Lord will bless you as well as others with an uplifting week!

A Little Boring

Dear momma, famerie, and all you peoples that rock my socks!

This has been a boring, normal, week for the work of the Lord on our side, but on all other aspects of life, some pretty cool and interesting things have happened.

For the Work, it has been super slow, and no one could meet with us this week and we had ere'single appointment cancel this week on us and no one literally wanted to talk to us. That is a normal thing for missionaries up here in upstate new york if you are not serving in a city area. Which I am ok with because the city is to crowded and I like driving...haha you don't drive to much or even have a car if you serve in a city area here. For things outside of the work, the entertainment part of week started off on wednesday this week as we were trying a former investigator.

We parked at his home and knocked on the door; no one answered, we knocked again; no one answered. We got back into the car to head to the local food pantry to do our service with them. I aksed my companion, Elder Prestwich, if he thought I could make it if I just did a U Turn with out hitting the snow. He told me, " Yeah I think you make it." .....We didn't make it, we got the car stuck in the snow for like 45 min. We, even used a shovel that was sitting outside the formers home to try and dig out the car a little bit. After we tried and tried just ourselves, I sat in the car super upset and said a prayer. After my prayer, walking a up the street was a man, he aksed us if we need him to pull us out with his truck. We told him no, but if he could help push the car out we could get out. He helped us out and we got unstuck and found out it was the former we were trying to contact. He wasn't to interested any more but was greatful he was able to help.

Other than that, we had a ward activity this last friday about sugar.....It was a whole couple hours of someone pretty much telling us how much sugar is really in things and telling us we were fat....and addicted to sugar...haha We found out how to turn grams of sugar into tablespoons of sugar.
#of Grams Divided by 4 = # of Table Spoons of Sugar
If you want to do Fat, You do the same math but you divide by 5 instead of 4. I will only suggest you do that math if you want to change you eating habbits....other wise...don't do it! haha It might just scare you!

I hope all of you are having a great week and that those in Greenwich are doing well! If not, let me know, I might be able to pull some strings ;) haha Don't Tell Elder Cosman that haha

Love you all!
